ID3 Tag

File Renamer can rename Mp3 files and bulk renames ID3 tags of Mp3 files.

File Renamer Supports following ID3 tags

No. ID3 V1 ID3 V2
1. Artist Artist
2. Genre Genre
3. Title Title
4. Year Year
5. Album Album
6. Comments Comments

You can see ID3V1 or ID3V2 Tags of Selected MP3 files in ID3 Tab.

Rename MP3 File Name

File Renamer could rename MP3 files using ID3 tags of MP3 file.

Like you have File name called 'Abc.mp3'.

This is how you can do this.

  1. Open Mask Editor. See Image

  2. Select which MP3 Tags you want to add in a name. You could use ID3V1 or ID3V2 or both tags in file name.
  3. Choose separator which would add between 2 tags.
  4. Press 'OK' in Mask editor.
  5. Now you can see Mask added.

  6. Now select MP3 files you want to rename like this.
  7. Now press 'preview' button to preview new file name.
  8. Now press 'Apply' button to change name of all selected mp3 files.

Rename Mp3 ID3V1 and ID3V2 Tags

You can rename ID3V1 or ID3V2 tags of your favorite thousands of MP3 files in a few clicks.

  1. Select MP3 files which ID3V1 or ID3V2 tags you want to change.
  2. Write New Tags you want in Text Boxes for ID3V1 and ID3V2.
  3. Press button 'Set Tag'
